18 months, oops not quite yet.

Juniper Maya Rohr
17 months old on August 25th

Nicknames: Little Boo, Sweetpea, Juni, Nugget, Juniper Moon, Squish, Little Bunny

Loves: Dancing, Singing, talking, avocados, grapes, remote controls, bananas, sweet bread, Yogurt, Bathtime, the feeling of gravel and sand between her fingers, raisins, raspberries, hummus, her stuffed fox and lamb, and all cute animals, really. Giving kisses, waving bye-bye. Finding leaves and interesting litter. Bubbles, balls, live sports, the water park, doing it herself, pushing and turning things, waving at the birds, holding keys, cell phones, computers, and watching Elmo. Also, going out for lunch with Grammie and Papa Al, listening to Nanny J sing, Skyping with Grandma & Grandpa, reading books, taking all of her books off the shelf and putting them all back on the shelf, string cheese, pacifiers, juice, eating off others' plates, people watching, animal sounds, shaking her head yes & no. Toast, pancakes, scrambled eggs, rice, pretzels, goldfish crackers, turning the lights off and on, ringing doorbells, applying her own sunblock, washing her own face.

Words/Sayings: Elephant, Ribbit, Banana, Octopus, Hello, Bye-Bye, Alright, All Done, Bubble, Mommy, Daddy (though she calls us both Mommy right now), Elmo, Doggy, Ducky, cheese, stop it, and many things we cannot decipher. She sings Twinkle Twinkle and the ABC song, in little tiny pieces only distinguishable by the tune. She also counts and answers questions with terrific gibberish.

Hates: long walks, car rides, having shoes or socks on in the car, bright sunlight, being told no, fights (even if they are tickle fights), diaper changes, sharing, chicken, having her face and hands wiped, bedtime, saying goodbye or goodnight to mommy, being left alone in a room even if for one minute, stringy or slimey food (so don't you dare make string cheese into strings), baby carriers, hats, sunglasses.

Loves & is terrified by: dogs and water.

Doesn't care about: cake or cookies, blackberries, peaches, wearing clothes.

When she feels like doing it: she's surprisingly good at washing her hands, combing her hair, brushing her teeth, opening doors, and getting up onto chairs/beds/tables.
